Romansh, the fourth language of Switzerland
Vivid translations by native speakers
The Rhaeto-Romance language of Romansh is also an official language of Switzerland alongside German, French and Italian. As a minority language spoken by just 0.5 percent of the Swiss population, this unique blend of vernacular Latin and Rhaetian and Celtic languages is in danger of extinction, according to UNESCO.
However, since Romansh is an inseparable part of the cultural identity of the canton of Graubünden, and hence of Switzerland as a whole, we would like to help preserve this distinctive language through our work.
